Purpose of the Job

  • To steer our logistics vendors/partners on daily level to perform the way that is optimal while balancing the needs of the vendors/partners.  Additionally, the role will continuously look to improve processes through analysis, identification, documentation and implementation.

Key Outputs

  • Manage day to day logistics operations for the DC’s, Inbound Carriers, Outbound Carriers, Pool Carriers and Stores
  • Identify logistics inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Work with carriers to ensure their capacity meets demands
  • Manage shipment exceptions, shipment prioritization and expedited shipments
  • KPI reporting for DC’s, Carriers, Pool Carriers and Stores
  • Process development and training (both internal and external)
  • Tracking and tracing of shipments
  • Lead quarterly carrier reviews
  • Assist in data gathering for financial budgets and forecasts

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
  • Two years’ experience working within a Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain environment
